Welcome to Orlean College of Pharmacy, a leading Pharmacy institution in India with a legacy of over a decade under the aegis of Shri Khatu Shyam Educational & Cultural Trust, dedicated to nurturing the entrepreneurs of the future with great enthusiasm.

My vision is centered on achieving excellence, healthy engagement, easy accessibility, and national wide recognition in the following key areas:

  • Empowering Students: We are committed to empower a diverse community of students, enabling them to enhance their skills, transform their lives, and achieve true success through high-quality teaching and learning.

  • Industry and Community Engagement: Through active collaboration with industry and the community, we aim to contribute to make the world a better place by creating, sharing, and applying new knowledge.

Life is a journey that should be lived to the fullest, not just survived. I have chosen to embrace life in such a way that when I look back, I can say, "I truly lived it." It's about making the most of every moment and living with passion and purpose.

As individuals, we are all connected by invisible threads of love, compassion, and humanity. Together, we can weave a more beautiful, dedicated, purposeful and goal-oriented life.

Pharmacy embraces knowledge of identification, preservation, analysis and standardization of drugs of natural origin and others, synthesis of new drug molecules, manufacturing of various dosage form, quality control of drugs, clinical trials, mechanism of action, side effects, contraindications, indications of drugs and drug interactions. Pharmacy professionals therefore, are the experts on drugs and drug therapy contrary to the general perception that they merely compound and dispense medicines.

The application of unique knowledge and skills of the pharmacist to improve the health of the people is called Pharmacy Practice. It includes hospital, clinical, and community pharmacy.

A practicing pharmacist shares responsibilities with other healthcare professionals (doctors, nurses etc) and with patients for the outcome of therapy. The patient and the community are the primary beneficiaries of the pharmacist's actions.
